Concussion Policy and Procedures
In accordance with 105 CMR 201.000, “Head Injuries and Concussions in Extracurricular Athletic Activities” and in conjunction with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) recommendations, Pope Francis Preparatory School aims to properly assess and treat student-athletes with suspected concussions. PFPS has established this protocol to provide education about sports-related concussions for athletic department staff, other school personnel, parents, and athletes.
