Affording Pope Francis Prep

Financial Aid

We are committed to providing an opportunity for Catholic education to all student applicants that meet the admission requirements regardless of the family’s financial capability to afford the tuition.

There are 2 methods through which families can receive financial aid:

Method #1 – Financial Aid from Pope Francis Prep: During or after completing the admissions process, submit a Blackbaud Financial Aid Management application for consideration of need-based financial assistance from Pope Francis Prep. A $45 application fee is assessed by Blackbaud when applying for aid.

Method #2 – Financial Aid from the Diocese of Springfield: The diocese of Springfield offers need-based awards up to $1,200 per student per year. Additional details regarding these awards can be found here. Eligibility for these awards is not determined by Pope Francis Prep and requires a separate application. If you feel you may qualify for this award, submit a FACTS Grant & Aid application. A $40 fee is assessed by FACTS when applying for this aid.

Many believe that Pope Francis Prep only awards financial aid to families who can afford to pay little toward tuition. Nearly 40% of our students receive financial assistance from Pope Francis Prep. We do not discourage anyone from applying for financial assistance. Everyone’s financial situation is different. From the income levels to the number of people in a family, to the household expenses, these all determine qualifications for financial assistance.
