Athletics

Welcome to Cardinal Athletics!

The administration of Pope Francis Preparatory School believes that athletics are an extension of the classroom, affording student-athletes opportunities for growth, learning, leadership and excellence. Pope Francis offers a variety of sports in the fall, winter and spring seasons. We encourage students of all abilities to get involved in our athletic programs. Please contact our Athletic Director, John Goda, if you have any questions about our sports teams or if you need additional information.

BASELINE CONCUSSION TESTING INFORMATION

All freshmen, sophomores and juniors are required to complete the new baseline concussion test prior to any athletic participation. Any freshman, sophomore or junior athlete who has not already taken the test this year (for fall sports) MUST complete the test before they can tryout or practice.

PRESEASON DOCUMENTS 
We will no longer be using AT Genius for athletic sign-ups. Please use this link to complete the google form for the required preseason information and documents. Be sure to download, complete and upload the three included preseason documents, and then hit the SUBMIT button at the bottom. The google form and three included preseason documents must be completed by all athletes, every school year, prior to athletic participation. All athletes are required to have a valid physical. Physicals are valid for 13 months. A hard copy of a valid physical should be sent in to the school nurse.
