Athletics

Welcome to Cardinal Athletics!

The administration of Pope Francis Preparatory School believes that athletics are an extension of the classroom, affording student-athletes opportunities for growth, learning, leadership and excellence. Pope Francis offers a variety of sports in the fall, winter and spring seasons. We encourage students of all abilities to get involved in our athletic programs. Please contact our Athletic Director, John Goda, if you have any questions about our sports teams or if you need additional information.

BASELINE CONCUSSION TESTING INFORMATION

All freshmen, juniors and transfer students are required to complete the baseline concussion test prior to any athletic participation. This includes juniors who took the test last year as sophomores. For the fall season, athletes will take the test with our athletic trainer or their coach prior to their first scheduled practice or tryout. See the schedule for each fall sport below for more information.

PRESEASON DOCUMENTS 
Required preseason documents will be available on Blackbaud soon. Physical and Insurance information should be uploaded through Blackbaud prior to the start of the athletic season. Emails have been sent to all students on a fall sport roster; if you are planning to do a fall sport and did not receive an email from our athletic trainer, please contact her at kblair@popefrancisprep.org
